Garden Party 2026 is ON SALE NOW!

There’s something special about summer evenings at The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre. That moment you step into the courtyard and everything feels different. Twinkling lights overhead, the scent of great food drifting through the air, soft chatter before the show begins… it’s intimate, atmospheric, and unmistakably TSEAC.
Our Garden Party is back and we have an awesome summer planned where each night stands on its own: a carefully curated, one‑off open‑air experience where you can settle in, relax, and feel completely transported. It’s that rare blend of cosy and electric, where you are never just an attendee at an event, you're very much a part of it. But be warned...once you’ve been to one of our Garden Party nights, you’ll want to be at all of them.
This year’s programme is bringing unforgettable music, comedy, cinema and culture to North County Dublin all under our iconic TSEAC canopy. And with limited capacity, these events are truly something you’ll want to lock in early.
Here’s what’s waiting for you this summer:
The Devil’s in the Dance Hall
The Devil’s in the Dance Hall is a night of joy, resistance & big‑band energy that invites you to step inside a world where dancing was an act of rebellion. The Devil’s in the Dance Hall is a powerful, heart‑pounding performance inspired by the true story of Jimmy Gralton and Ireland’s once‑forbidden rural dance halls. Through spoken word, soaring vocals and the roaring Gralton Big Band, the show transforms our courtyard into a pulsing parish hall full of movement, laughter, argument, courtship and sheer, collective joy.
As the line between performers and audience dissolves, you’re swept into a celebration of dance as defiance, community as courage, and the unstoppable human need to gather. This is the only place you’ll see it in Dublin - and it’s a night you’ll feel long after it ends.
Daoirí Farrell & Band
Prepare for a spellbinding night with one of Ireland’s most extraordinary folk voices. Daoirí Farrell. Twice honoured at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and hailed by The Irish Times as “the torch bearer for Irish folk song” brings his masterful storytelling, dazzling bouzouki work, and soulful vocals to our summer stage. From global festival appearances to touring with Transatlantic Sessions and Lúnasa, Daoirí has become one of the most compelling performers of his generation. His songs land with honesty, heart, and that unmistakable Dublin warmth, drawing you into every lyric. Outdoors, under the summer sky, this promises to be a truly unforgettable evening with an artist at the absolute top of his craft.
The Muddy River Band
After last year’s sold‑out unplugged show, The Muddy River Band return to TSEAC, this time with their full 7‑piece powerhouse lineup. What began as a one‑off gig “just for fun” has grown into a phenomenon, with standing ovations at every performance. Willie Headon, Pete Kavanagh and Pat Silke channel the music of their heroes - Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, with the kind of authenticity only lifelong musicians can bring. Expect an electric night of classics, harmonies, storytelling and pure musical joy. If you love any (or all!) of these legends, this is the summer show you’ll be talking about long after the last note fades!
David O’Doherty – Highway to the David Zone
The dishevelled prince of €10 eBay keyboards tries to make you feel alive with a new pageant of laughter, song and occasionally getting up from a chair. It’s gonna be a big one.
Footloose Outdoor Cinema & 80’s Night - The Party of the Summer
Get ready to cut loose, because we’re turning TSEAC’s Piper’s Garden into an open‑air 80s paradise for a special screening of Footloose! Expect retro glam, big tunes, delicious food, a full bar, and all the atmosphere you can only get at TSEAC. Dust off the leg warmers, tease that hair sky‑high and embrace the neon because this is your chance to live your best 80s movie moment under the stars. Once the film ends, the dancing definitely doesn’t… and trust us, this nostalgic summer night is one you absolutely won’t want to miss!
Martha Spencer & The Wonderland Band - Bluegrass, Bar & BBQ
Spend a perfect summer afternoon in our courtyard with the irresistible Bluegrass energy of Martha Spencer & The Wonderland Band. Straight from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Martha brings her soulful voice, dazzling multi‑instrumental skill and deep Appalachian roots to TSEAC, joined by the phenomenal fiddler and songwriter Lucas Pasley and the blues‑soaked groove of Jake Dwyer. Expect old‑time tunes, foot‑stomping rhythms, sweet harmonies and that front‑porch‑in-the-mountains feeling all paired with great BBQ, a buzzing bar and the easy warmth of a TSEAC summer day. It’s wholesome, joyful, high‑spirited, and the perfect way to soak up a lazy Sunday outdoors.
Tickets are ON SALE NOW!
Every event in the programme is a one‑night‑only experience - once it’s gone, it’s gone. If you’re looking for something truly unique that you won't be able to experience anywhere else, then this is the place to be!
We can't wait to welcome you to Garden Party 2026 at TSEAC!

Tiny fishing is my go-to game when I need to relax. The graphics are cute, and catching new fish is always fun!
I never really thought about Summer at TSEAC in this way before, but reading how it presents Garden Party 2026 as a sequence of one‑off, courtyard‑only nights—each with its own mood, from the rebel‑dance energy of The Devil’s in the Dance Hall to Daoirí Farrell’s folk storytelling, the full‑power return of The Muddy River Band, David O’Doherty’s comic song‑pageant, an outdoor Footloose screening and 80s dance‑after‑party, and Martha Spencer’s bluegrass‑and‑BBQ Sunday—made me appreciate how much the piece is really about turning an arts centre into a summer “experience engine” rather than a simple venue calendar: the whole pitch leans on intimacy, limited capacity, and the feeling that you’re not just buying a ticket, you’re being folded into a temporary little…
