Soy Candle & Wax Melts Workshop

This relaxed two-hour workshop offers a chance to learn the craft of candle making with Aromatherapist, Emma Hyland from MuMe.ie

Using locally and ethically sourced ingredients, you’ll make your own soy wax candle in a 200ml glass container, along with a selection of soy wax melts. You’ll also design the scent for your candle, choosing from a range of fragrances and essential oils. If you’d like, you can add simple decorative elements to make your piece completely your own.

Along the way, we’ll cover the basics of candle making; including the different waxes used, how wax hardness can be adjusted, wick selection, and the principles behind a well-burning candle.

Whether you're curious about the process or simply looking for a creative way to spend an afternoon, you'll leave with your own handmade candle and melts to enjoy at home or give as a gift.
