A Day of Free Creativity for Children & Young People

We’re thrilled to once again be part of Cruinniú na nÓg - Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. As the first (and still only!) country in the world to dedicate a day entirely to nurturing the creative potential of its young people, Ireland celebrates this wonderful initiative through the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan.

Since the very first Cruinniú na nÓg in 2018, children, teenagers, and families across the country have come together to explore, learn, and celebrate creativity in all its forms. From workshops and hands‑on making sessions to performances, readings, and imaginative showcases, this day invites young people to try something new, discover their artistic talents, and simply enjoy the magic of creative expression.
