Welcome to OPEN TO ART!

Since our Centre and Easter Snow Gallery is closed at the moment, we are taking this opportunity to feature some of the Artists that have exhibited here in the past and highlight some images of their current work in an online gallery.
Today we feature RHA artist James English who very kindly opened our Easter Snow Gallery in March 2014. James has been a great supporter of our Easter Snow Gallery and is always on hand for advice when needed which is very much appreciated.
We hope you enjoy pursuing James' stunning work - click into the Discussion tab to see a selection of James' work.
James English was born in Naul, in 1946 and now lives in Loughshinny where he works from his studio/gallery.
James has exhibited widely here and abroad. He was elected an Associate Member of the Royal Hibernian Academy and subsequently in 2005 was elected a full member. Over the years James has been the recipient of a number of awards including; The James Kenneth Kennedy Memorial Award, RHA Exhibition 2001, The ESB Keating/McLaughlin Medal & Award, RHA Exhibition 2003; and RHA Friends award at the RHA Exhibition 2012.
'Hesitant', 'Estuary' and 'Emerging' are inspired by water and man’s relationship with it.
Each is a metaphor for mental well being and mindfulness.” Something we could all tap into in these strange times.
