Join us for a night of French food and cinema with our Cottage Café serving up some classic French dishes and wine ahead of the heart-warming drama, Primaire.

Florence (Sara Forestier) is a primary school teacher who finds herself caring for a troubled pupil named Sacha. As she begins to track down Sacha’s absent parents, Florence’s life begins to fall apart as she struggles with her own frustrated son and an increasingly stressful job.

Primaire is a love letter to teachers everywhere. While the film has no shortage of charm, it doesn’t shy away from the reality of modern education - showing how both teachers and pupils can find themselves struggling in an often unfriendly and under-resourced system.
