December 19 2021, join us for the last Slow Session of the year at The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre. Accordion player Paudie O’Connor will host a hybrid event, a traditional music session with participants in the room and with online participants tuning in over Zoom.

This session has had a loyal following in the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre for over ten years and during the pandemic grew exponentially when it moved ‘online’.  Now our hybrid sessions, participants playing in the venue, and joining in over Zoom, will provide an opportunity for those living in and outside the North Dublin area to join in.

It’s ideal for players who enjoy playing the standard sets of tunes in Irish music at a slow and steady pace. It’s also ideal for adults who are currently receiving tuition on an instrument and need a chance to play the tunes they have learned in a group environment. Paudie will also teach a tune during each session.

Everybody is welcome! Please be mindful of which ticket option you book (online or in-person).

In-person participants please note:
All ticket holders must hold a valid Covid-19 vaccine certificate to attend on the night.

Tickets are extremely limited, and must be booked in advance.
We cannot accommodate walk-ups at this time.

We respectfully request that you read our Covid-19 information here.

Due to the extremely limited capacity of our indoor venue, we ask that anyone booking a ticket only do so if they are certain they will be able to attend the event.

Online participants please note:
To take part, you will need either a mobile phone with a camera or a computer with a webcam. You will also need to create a free account with Zoom and/or download the Zoom app.
