Since graduating with a BA (Hons) in illustration from Bristol Polytechnic in 1989, Brian has enjoyed a successful career as a professional illustrator and fine artist. He has resided in Dublin for the past 23 years. As well as exhibiting with galleries such as the RHA and RUA annual shows, his work has appeared in all areas of design including magazines, newspapers, book publishing, advertising and museum design.
Some past clients include: The National Trust, Office of Public Works and GPO Witness History, The Royal Mint, Harper Collins, Penguin Books, Walker Books, Oxford University Press, Random House, Longmans, Onion Publishing and Evening Standard.
Brian has won the following awards: World Illustration Awards Winner – 2016 – Public Realm, Royal Ulster Academy of Arts – Print prize 2019.
