Róise & Frank
An Exclusive Dog Friendly Screening
09.03.23 (SOLD OUT)
Meet & Greet: 17:30
Show Starts: 18:00
TSEAC are delighted to announce that they will be hosting its first dog friendly cinema event! So grab your pupcorn and head on down to The Séamus Ennis Art Centre for a night at the movies with your favourite pawtner in crime!
Of course, because our dogs are the star of the show, then it is only fitting that we show an Irish dog themed movie.
Roise & Frank, an Irish comedy drama which tells the story of Róise, a woman still in mourning following the death of her husband Frank, is initially annoyed when a mysterious dog shows up at her door. But a series of eerie coincidences soon has Róise convinced that the dog is Frank, reincarnated.
Róise and Frank is Set in the scenic Ring Gaeltacht area in Co Waterford and is a charming Irish-language film that will elicit smiles, tears and plenty of laughs with the heart-warming and relatable tale of one dog who helps his new companion to overcome her grief.
This one-of-a-kind paw friendly screening will kickstart with a meet and greet for all furry friends in our piper’s garden where dogs can get acquainted and settled in before the show.
Table seating will be arranged for the evening to ensure that dogs have lots of space to lay down comfortably beside their pawrents. If your special friend has a favourite bed or blanket to make a more enjoyable movie experience for them, then please do feel free to bring this along with you.
As if a movie night with your best friend wasn’t enough, There’s MORE!
TSEAC have also teamed up with our small business friends at waggytailsfashion.ie who have very kindly organised some very special doggie goodie bags for the show!
Due to the excitement of this special evening, we must ask that all dogs are kept on their leash during their visit. We want to make sure that this event is enjoyable for all so would like to advise that if your dog is a little nervous, anxious around other dogs or may become uncomfortable sitting for the duration of the film, then this may not be the event for you this time.
To make this a memorable evening for you and your fur baby, we kindly ask that we keep to one dog per person. If you have any queries or wish to bring more than one dog, please do get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.
We look forward to welcoming all well-behaved humans and furry friends to this very special cinema evening here at TSEAC!
