Winter Themed Embroidery on a Japanese Fabric
You will learn a selection of stitches which can be applied to any embroidery project: stem, satin, surface satin, backstitch, couching, chain and French knot. You will have a selection of many colours of cotton threads as well as some metallic threads to choose from.

You will learn by working on a Japanese linen fabric called nani IRO. It is the brand name of the renowned Japanese artist Naomi Ito, who has a background as a watercolour artist. Her designs are of a subtle Japanese aesthetic.

Your finished winter themed piece can be added as an appliqué on a plain cushion, on a bag or can be framed to be a unique gift for Christmas.
All materials are included and the tools will be provided for the duration of the workshop. The participants will receive a helpful handout.

Places are limited, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
