HONEYFEET

Honeyfeet
“Remarkable” - The Guardian

“Seldom has conspicuous greatness been more accessible” - CityLife

“One Jools Holland Appearance away from runaway success” - Manchester Music Review

Recently signed to Peter Gabriel’s Real World Label and guesting member of Afro Celt Sound System, Honeyfeet have in Ríoghnach Connolly, one of the most striking front women on the scene at the moment.

Someone called it folk-hop. Someone else called it barrelhouse-pop. Someone called it jazz-funk. It's definitely not that. Folky, poppy, bluesy goodness. Eat it all up, and grow big and strong.

Songs about eating people! Dancing on graves! Infidelity! But it’s not all bad news. Manchester’s finest ethio-trad exponents have the skill, charm and (frankly) tunes to pull it all together into a joyful, foot-banging sound.

Honeyfeet released the album ‘It's a Good Job I Love You’ in November 2013. Their next, as yet untitled album is due for release soon.
